Credit Analyst - Credit & Political Risk Insurance Underwriting Team

• Conducting detailed credit analysis of obligors, borrowers, financial institutions and sovereign-related risks
• Assessing structured finance, project finance and trade finance transactions
• Reviewing financial statements, cash flow models, transaction structures and security packages
• Preparing high-quality credit reports and recommendations for underwriting committees
• Monitoring portfolio performance and identifying emerging credit risks
• Supporting underwriters throughout the underwriting process and renewal cycle
• Analysing political, economic and sector-specific developments impacting risk exposures
• Engaging with brokers, clients, banks and other market participants as required

• Strong credit analysis and financial statement interpretation skills
• Experience assessing complex financing structures and transaction risks
• Knowledge of project finance, export finance, structured credit or trade finance products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to present clear and concise credit recommendations to senior stakeholders
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline

Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM or ACA would be advantageous but are not essential
