Credit Analyst 1

• Conduct risk assessments and customer credit analyses
• Review financial results and peer reviews
• Prepare financial projections
• Prepare transaction approval and permit memos
• Conduct due diligence
• Create cash flow models
• Conduct sensitivity analyses
• Escalate credit concerns/updates to risk and business managers
• Propose risk mitigation measures
• Stay informed of developments/news related to the portfolio and covered sector
• Assist in preparing portfolio review and conducting stress tests
• Build working relationships with multiple teams across the bank
• Assess risks during business related decision making processes
• Promote compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations

• Experience in financial analysis, accounting, and valuation
• Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance, financial modeling, credit and banking products, credit analysis, risk assessment, and transaction execution
• 0-2 years prior experience in a financial institution with a focus on credit analysis and spreading software
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP accounting, financial regulations, financial products, and credit analysis
• Ability to analyze business and personal financial statements with respect to GAAP and Citibank policies
• Bachelor's degree/university degree or equivalent experience
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of MS Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
