Job Description:

The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the credentialing and recredentialing processes for healthcare providers who are joining, or already participating in the network. This role ensures that all providers meet regulatory, payer, and organizational requirements, and that all credentialing activities are completed timely and accurately.

Job Responsibility:

Managing and maintaining credentialing and recredentialing processes for healthcare providers
Ensuring providers meet regulatory, payer, and organizational requirements
Completing credentialing activities timely and accurately
Maintaining credentialing systems
Verifying provider qualifications including education, training, licenses, certifications, work history

Requirements:

1-3 years healthcare industry experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Strong attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication
Ability to learn new systems/programs quickly
High School Diploma

Nice to have:

1-3 years healthcare provider credentialing experience
Knowledge of CAQH, NPDB, EPDB
