We are looking for a diligent Credentialing Specialist to join our team in Long Beach, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring healthcare professionals meet compliance standards and maintain eligibility to work in partner facilities. Job Responsibility:
Collect and verify clinician documentation, including licenses, certifications, immunization records, and background checks
Ensure compliance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records in company systems
Communicate with clinicians to address missing, expired, or pending documentation
Act as a liaison between healthcare professionals, partner facilities, and internal teams for credentialing updates
Submit documentation and manage processes through MSP platforms and credentialing systems
Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of credentialing tasks
Collaborate with internal departments to streamline credentialing workflows
Utilize credentialing platforms such as Shiftwise, Fieldglass, Magnit, Wand, Expedient, and Lotus One effectively
Stay informed on industry standards and best practices for credentialing procedures
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare credentialing or a related field
Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
Proficient in managing multiple cases and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Familiarity with credentialing systems such as Shiftwise, Fieldglass, Magnit, Wand, Expedient, and Lotus One
Knowledge of credentialing processes, including provider and physician credentialing
Ability to adapt to evolving regulatory guidelines and industry standards
Nice to have:
Prior experience in staffing or healthcare compliance is preferred
