We’re partnering with a well-established healthcare organization seeking a Credentialing Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring providers remain fully credentialed, compliant, and ready to deliver care. This is an immediate opportunity to step into a highly visible role where your organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills will make a direct impact on patient access and provider success.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage end-to-end provider credentialing and re-enrollment with multiple payers
  • Maintain and track provider data using an internal credentialing tracker system
  • Ensure CAQH profiles are accurate and attested every 120 days
  • Proactively follow up with payers to keep applications on track and resolve delays
  • Support new provider onboarding, ensuring all credentialing requirements are met
  • Act as a key liaison between providers, payers, and internal teams
  • Monitor compliance to ensure providers remain eligible to practice without interruption

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in credentialing, provider enrollment, or a closely related healthcare administrative function
  • Hands-on knowledge of provider credentialing, physician credentialing, and re-credentialing application workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting time-sensitive deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to organize data and work with formulas for tracking purposes
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid enrollment or credentialing procedures is preferred
  • Proven ability to learn new systems quickly and navigate online portals and internal tracking tools efficiently

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid processes is a plus
  • Credentialing experience is highly preferred, but candidates with strong administrative backgrounds and the ability to learn quickly will be considered
