Job Description:

Assists in maintaining information in Credentialing databases. Reviews and validates provider information against business and credentialing requirements. Performs support for extensive research and analysis of sensitive provider issues and communicates data integrity issues. Follows established procedures to execute routine business support tasks for the Credentialing function, under general supervision.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain information in Credentialing databases
Review and validate provider information against business and credentialing requirements
Perform support for extensive research and analysis of sensitive provider issues
Communicate data integrity issues
Execute routine business support tasks for the Credentialing function
Develop effective relationships with all team members to discuss Credentialing requirements
Contribute to the development of credentialing processes and workflows
Identify improvement opportunities, enhancements, and solutions
Research and prepare risk-sensitive and complex credentialing verification
Review completed investigative files

Requirements:

1-2 years in Medical Staff Credentialing
High school diploma
Strong understanding of healthcare credentialing processes
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to problem solve
Ability to work independently

Nice to have:

MDStaff experience
NAMSS Certification
