Job Description

As a (Junior) Creative Visual Designer, you will work closely with our Graphics team to develop high-impact visual assets for our daily campaigns. In this role, you will utilise a versatile toolkit, including AI-driven technologies, to create assets that drive engagement and brand awareness. Reporting directly to the Senior Graphic Designer, you will focus on delivering high-quality design solutions while maintaining strict visual consistency across all channels. Beyond execution, you will play a proactive role in optimising our creative workflows and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure campaign success. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the asset lifecycle from initial creation to going live across our website platforms, ensuring timely delivery of high-volume campaign assets
  • Harness AI imagery to elevate creative output and translate briefings into high-impact, on-brand, and visually engaging graphic assets
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Graphic Designers and take full ownership of assigned projects end-to-end - from concept to delivery - in alignment with a Senior Graphic Designer or Team Lead
  • Champion visual excellence by ensuring accuracy, consistency, premium quality, and expert application of the Westwing design systems and visual guidelines across all touchpoints
  • Implement visual strategies that support short-term campaign delivery while proactively challenging the status quo and optimising assets and processes in consultation with senior team members

Requirements

  • Initial practical experience in home & living, fashion, or lifestyle
  • Strong visual eye and deep sense of aesthetics, with familiarity in design brands, fashion, interior, and lifestyle
  • Solid understanding of trends and the ability to translate them into compelling visuals and campaigns
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Good understanding of campaign timelines, asset delivery, and production workflows, paired with clear and proactive communication skills
  • Strong sense of initiative and ownership, taking full responsibility for tasks, and regularly sharing updates with superiors
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to have

  • A relevant university degree (Design, Marketing, Communication, etc.)
  • Experience in Figma and/or Canva
  • Knowledge of AI tools
  • Additional languages
