Job Description:

As Creative Pattern Technologist, reporting to the Lead Technologist, you will be responsible for the technical development, pattern cutting, grading, fit and quality of Bravissimo brand lingerie and swimwear product. Working collaboratively with Buying, Merchandising, Supply, QA and our suppliers you will take full technical ownership of your styles ensuring excellent fit and quality in line with our brand standards at every stage of the product lifecycle from concept development through fitting and sealing, to bulk production and delivery AQL.

Job Responsibility:

  • Technical development, pattern cutting, grading, fit and quality of Bravissimo brand lingerie and swimwear product
  • Take full technical ownership of styles ensuring excellent fit and quality
  • Work collaboratively with Buying, Merchandising, Supply, QA and suppliers
  • Proactively seek feedback through regular time in customer facing areas
  • Work in partnership with the buying team and suppliers to create new products
  • Cutting and grading patterns from concept to production
  • Work closely with sample machinists
  • Manage the fit and sealing approval process in weekly fitting sessions
  • Create and maintain accurate technical packs
  • Manage product quality throughout whole lifecycle
  • Manage styles in line with Critical Path
  • Create AQL paperwork and packs
  • Managing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and factories

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years working experience in pattern technology and grading
  • Passion for creating and developing great fitting Lingerie and Swimwear
  • Ideally garment technology experience with a good understanding of garment construction for bulk production
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Organised, positive, self-motivated
  • Able to flex and effectively prioritise workload
  • Confident working collaboratively
  • Effective in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
  • Confidence to deal with issues
  • Willingness for international travel to factories as required
  • Due to the nature of the role, there is a genuine occupational requirement for post holders to be female
