Job Description:

A forward-thinking and inclusive school in Havering is seeking a Creative Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. The role involves using creativity to support pupils with special educational needs through expressive approaches such as arts, drama, and music while working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists.

Job Responsibility:

Support children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs
Use creative tools and strategies to aid communication, focus, and emotional regulation
Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and therapists in a collaborative setting

Requirements:

A recent graduate (any discipline) with a creative mindset and a heart for inclusion
Open-minded, empathetic, and full of positive energy
Interested in education, child development, psychology, or creative therapies
A confident communicator who builds strong relationships with pupils and staff
Adaptable, proactive, and ready to think outside the box
Eager to learn and committed to making a tangible impact
