We’re looking for a midweight to senior Video Editor and videographer to play a key role in shaping our brand’s visual identity across e-commerce, social and retail channels. This is an opportunity to join an innovative homewares brand at an exciting moment, as we refresh our brand and define new creative guidelines for video and motion. This role is predominantly office-based in London, allowing for close creative collaboration, fast iteration and hands-on involvement in production and post-production.
Job Responsibility:
Edit high-quality video content for e-commerce, social media and digital marketing campaigns
Craft compelling, product-focused narratives that drive engagement and conversion
Collaborate closely with the Art Director to develop and evolve the brand’s video language
Contribute ideas on pacing, storytelling, transitions, sound and visual treatment to elevate output
Using the company’s video, photography and lighting equipment to capture compelling content
Edit a broad mix of content types, including: Lifestyle and campaign films shot on location
Short-form and long-form social content
User-generated and behind-the-scenes content from our design team and workshop
CGI and motion-based assets
Help define and embed new video and editing guidelines as part of the brand refresh
Ensure all video content feels cohesive, considered and unmistakably on brand
Manage multiple edits and formats efficiently, optimised for different platforms and placements
Requirements:
Midweight to senior level experience as a Video Editor/Videographer, ideally within a brand, agency or content studio
A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality editing for e-commerce, social or brand campaigns
A deep understanding of film, editing craft and visual storytelling
An understanding in video kit requirements and relevant technical prowess
Strong visual eye for taking photographs of staff, social-media events, office
An interest in videography and production, with an understanding of how footage is captured and how to get the best from it in the edit
Confidence working with imperfect or varied source footage (e.g. UGC) and elevating it through editing
Collaborative mindset, comfortable sharing ideas and shaping creative direction
Advanced knowledge of professional editing software (e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
Experience working with mixed media formats, including CGI and motion graphics & type
Understanding of best practices for exporting and optimising video for ecommerce and social platforms
