We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Creative Director, copy to join our dynamic Brand & Creative team. The Creative Director, Copy, serves as the guardian and visionary for the brand's language, voice, and narrative architecture. This individual defines and executes the messaging that shapes the brand's identity and drives cultural resonance across all platforms. Job Responsibility
Drive Creative Vision & Campaign Strategy: Partner closely with Art Directors from the conception phase to fundamentally shape campaign narratives. Define high-level messaging strategies in lockstep with our Senior Creative Strategist and leadership teams
Optimise Data-Driven Performance Copy: Lead the copy strategy for performance campaigns, constantly testing and iterating seasonal copy based on performance data to effectively raise brand awareness and drive conversion
Steward Brand Voice & AI Integration: Act as the brand voice representative across the wider writing group, ensuring rigorous consistency from marketing campaigns to UX onsite copy. Champion and direct the strategic, on-brand adoption of AI tools within the creative workflow
Oversee Localisation Workflows: Define the global campaign naming strategy and oversee the marketing copy localisation process with external agencies, ensuring transcreated messaging maintains global fidelity while respecting local nuances
Manage Stakeholders & Elevate Creative Value: Communicate and champion the value of creative work internally and externally. Confidently direct, influence, and mediate expectations among senior stakeholders across multiple complex, simultaneous projects
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a strategic Creative Director, Copy, or an equivalent senior editorial/copy leadership role in a fast-paced creative agency, e-commerce, or brand environment, with a proven track record of shaping high-impact campaign narratives
Deep understanding of full-funnel content strategy, including how to seamlessly balance high-level brand storytelling with technical UX copy and data-driven performance marketing iterations
Exceptional at stakeholder management and communication, with a demonstrated ability to actively direct, influence, and align senior management and diverse cross-functional teams around creative goals
Forward-thinking and tech-savvy, with a passion for directing the strategic integration of AI tools into creative workflows without compromising brand voice and tonality
Strong experience managing external agencies for localisation, knowing how to establish flawless base copy and collaborate with external partners to maintain message fidelity across multiple markets
Solution-oriented and collaborative mindset, adept at partnering closely with our Senior Creative Strategist and managing expectations across complex, simultaneous projects while relentlessly advocating for creative excellence
Fluency in English is essential
