Job Description

This role leads creative direction for copy and written content across Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile, working inside Full Bars (our in-house agency) to deliver brand storytelling and multi-format written expressions that move marketing objectives forward. The work spans concepting, voice strategy, narrative development, and execution across Ecommerce, Media, Brand, and Retention channels. The role partners closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to translate strategy into creative work that engages our audiences, holds a distinct tone of voice for each brand, and shapes how customers feel about us.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and mentor the copywriting team to develop high-quality written content
  • Provide actionable feedback through quarterly reviews and ongoing coaching
  • Manage team dynamics and performance
  • Develop and steward a distinct, consistent tone of voice for each brand
  • Partner with the Creative Director, Design & Animation to deliver breakthrough integrated creative
  • Collaborate with marketing partners, Creative Account Management, and external partners to plan and execute creative projects
  • Translate briefs (and more often, conversations) into ideas and narratives that drive action
  • Present creative concepts, rationale, and a persuasive POV to senior leadership and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience (Required)
  • 8+ years writing for national or global brands as a creative director or similar creative leader (Preferred)
  • D2C brand experience a strong plus (Preferred)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
