Job Description:

This role, based out of our Edinburgh branch is often the face of Coates and requires exceptional customer service and professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining safety and quality.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of equipment to and from various site locations
  • Secure freight loads using approved systems, training, and safety procedures to ensure successful delivery
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location to ensure efficient retrieval
  • Perform general yard duties ensuring an organised and safe yard

Requirements:

  • HR heavy vehicle driver’s license
  • Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) High Risk Work licence
  • Dogging (DG) High Risk Work licence
  • Forklift licence
  • Experience loading and unloading equipment using correct restraint
  • A clean driving record and a commitment to the importance of safety – you understand and take ownership of your Chain of Responsibility obligations
  • Reliable customer service skills
