As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of crane machinery on site, ensuring that materials are moved precisely and safely to support construction activities. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining a smooth workflow and upholding our high standards of safety and quality.
Job Responsibility:
Operate cranes and related equipment in a safe, efficient, and professional manner in accordance with company and industry standards
Load, unload, move, and position materials and equipment on the construction site as directed by site supervisors
Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on crane equipment to ensure operational safety and reliability
Follow all health and safety guidelines and participate in safety meetings and training sessions
Communicate effectively with site managers, riggers, and other team members to coordinate lifting operations safely
Report any equipment faults or incidents promptly to the site management team
Maintain accurate records of crane operations and inspections as required
Requirements:
Valid and current CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) card or equivalent certification for crane operation
Proven experience operating cranes on construction sites, preferably within the construction and skilled trades sector
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to crane operations
Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and signals
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Willingness to work flexible hours as required to meet project demands
