Cracker operation

• Perform a wide variety of assignments in Cracker Processing and Packaging areas
• Substitute or provide temporary coverage for positions including Utility, Scaling, Mixing, Laminators, Production Relief, Ovens, and various packaging duties
• Perform sanitation duties as assigned
• Operate a lift truck and powered pallet jack
• Support all plant safety, quality, SAP, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Serve in the role of 5S Leader
• Actively participate in all audits (i.e. Daily Sweep, Weekly Spot, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager

• Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
• Perform operator-driven reliability (ODR) duties including cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation (passing score on Physical Capacity Screening)
• Mechanical aptitude (to cover for/relieve Processing Machine Operators)
• Must be able to work overtime
• Must be able to work a varied schedule (start and end times may be adjusted)
• Sanitation duties as assigned
• Must operate a lift truck and powered pallet jack

• Display a positive attitude and work collaboratively within a team environment
• Attendance record, safety record, disciplinary record, quality of work, peer relationships, job performance, previous work history, experience and Work Keys testing scores will be considered
• High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required
