Job Description

The Contract Professional Level 2 performs formal management of contracts with high complexity, so that projects and ongoing operations are delivered safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.

Job Responsibility

  • Procure new and manage ongoing operational contracts as the Contract Professional supporting the Transmission Line Program Portfolios in Program and Contract Management (PCM)
  • Provide procurement support to a variety of programs on an as and when required basis
  • Oversee the re-occurring issuance of work to operational contractors
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery needs are met on time, on budget and safely
  • Chair progress meetings, monitor contract schedules, manage contract scope, expediting, manage contract changes, manage claims and disputes, accrual reporting, administer and validate payment requests, track contract submittals and other deliverables, contract interpretation and close-out
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure contract performance meets the needs of the project
  • Monitor, analyze and provide reporting around the performance of the contract
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assist in the design and implementation of innovative strategies to improve internal processes and enhance vendor management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics, or related discipline, or equivalent
  • A minimum nine (9) years of contract management work experience
  • Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Contract Management
  • Intermediate MSOffice skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
