Job Description:

HPC Cluster Management software takes care of OS provisioning, controlling and monitoring of large scale clusters containing thousands of servers. The HPE CPE and USS team seeks an experienced software QA engineer to validate software that spans multiple areas including development tools, operating systems, and related HPC and AI software stack components.

Job Responsibility:

Create and document detailed test plans
Test software components according to written test plans
Track software defects and effectively communicate failures to software engineers
Review engineering requirements, test plans, and test cases for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
Conduct QA audits to identify improvements and apply corrective measures
Ensure that all software delivered meets quality expectations

Requirements:

B.S or M.S. degree in a related software engineering field
7+ years prior experience in software QA testing
Certifications in software testing such as ISTQB or CMMI are highly desirable
Experience in HPC or AI software development testing environments is a plus
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across a geographically distributed cross-functional team
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to use Jira, Confluence, and related software
Skills in Python, AI Testing, CI/CD Pipeline, Kubernetes
Knowledge of Cloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Security-First Mindset, Solutions Design, Testing & Automation, User Experience (UX)

Nice to have:

Experience in HPC or AI software development testing environments
Certifications in software testing such as ISTQB or CMMI
