We are looking for an experienced CPA Tax Manager to join an expanding organization that offers an amazing career growth tracks! Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, businesses (1120, 1120S, and 1065), and trusts
  • Offer strategic tax planning advice tailored to high-net-worth individuals and diverse businesses
  • Analyze and present financial data to clients and stakeholders with accuracy and clarity
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members to foster a collaborative and growth-oriented workplace
  • Monitor changes in tax regulations and identify opportunities to enhance compliance and client benefits
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design innovative tax solutions that avoid unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Ensure effective use of tax software tools, optimizing workflows and data management
  • Assist with entity formation tasks and provide support for multi-state tax filings
  • Manage complex and consolidated tax returns while maintaining high standards of accuracy

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of tax experience within a public accounting firm, covering corporate, individual, and partnership taxation
  • Active California CPA license is required
  • Proficiency with tax tools such as, Lacerte UltraTax, Sureprep and or Workpaper CS, and QuickBooks is preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience with proven ability to train and develop team members (desired not required)
  • Strong technical and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Expertise in preparing federal, estate, and multi-state tax returns
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
