Job Description:

You will join Crédit Agricole CIB Americas as Coverage Analyst in the Coverage and Investment Banking Department. You will assist senior bankers in Origination & Client Coverage in Independent Asset Management / Hedge Funds (IAM/HF) Coverage primarily or others as required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the monitoring of compliance with all 'Know Your Customer' (KYC), internal monitoring requirements, portfolio reviews including remediation exercices
  • Assist in the preparation of briefing memos for client visits or pitch books for clients or internal presentations/committees
  • Work with Senior Banker to map client internal organization, identify key decision makers and foster multi-product/cross-border relationships between the Client and Crédit Agricole CIB
  • Monitor client earnings announcements in IAM/HF sector and update quarterly
  • Monitor weekly pipeline reports and revenue budgets for FIG (Financial Institutions Group) Americas (including all sectors)
  • Assist Head of Region with bi-annual performance reviews and quarterly risk reviews in cooperation with bankers and the different business lines
  • Assist in the management of credit requests and legal documentation approval process for new transactions and new counterparts including Prioritization Committee and KYC Committee
  • Analyze risk/return metrics on all stand-alone transactions and client relationships
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the Credit Agricole Group’s product offering and network as well as an understanding of how the Bank’s products and network apply to clients and prospects

Requirements:

  • Be less than 28 years old
  • Be graduated of Master Degree
  • Be EU citizen
  • Postgraduate with a Master Degree from an University or a Business School, with a specialization in Finance
  • A first experience in Banking is necessary
  • Basic grasp of risk/return analysis concepts and tools
  • Financial modelling skills
