Job Responsibility:

Provide ad-hoc cover across a diverse range of subjects
Mentor learners to help them secure future employment opportunities post-release
Deliver interesting and engaging cover sessions
Work with and be supported by a team of dedicated professionals

Requirements:

Hold a teaching qualification and, where applicable, a relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
Have experience creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners
Have a good previous track record of achieving quality targets
Have a willingness to engage with and produce accurate and timely reports
Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
Have an ability to motivate and enthuse learners in the subject matter
Demonstrate good organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet deadlines/targets
Advocate for and engage consistently in positive team working
Have an ability to adapt, think on your feet and engage learners within cover sessions across multiple subject areas
