As we head into the post-Easter term, our partner schools are seeking confident, assertive, and adaptable Cover Supervisors to lead classrooms and ensure learning never stops. This is the perfect role for those looking to gain leadership experience or aspiring teachers wanting to master classroom management.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver pre-set lesson plans and lead classroom activities across various subjects
Manage student behaviour effectively using established school policies and rewards
Foster a productive learning environment by keeping students focused and on-task
Provide clear instructions and support to students as they complete their work
Complete accurate registers and provide constructive feedback for returning teachers
Supervise students during break times and facilitate safe transitions between lessons
Respond to student queries and offer guidance on curriculum-based tasks

Requirements:

Previous experience working in an educational setting or leading groups (coaching, military, youth work, or tutoring)
The ability to stand at the front of a class and command respect through rapport
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a commitment to apply for one)
