Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to support the supervision of classes when the usual teacher is absent for short-term reason. Our Cover Supervisors are expected to maintain high standards for all pupils and to demonstrate respect for their social, cultural, linguistic, religious and ethnic backgrounds. Keswick School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and all staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and all appropriate pre-employment checks, including on-line and social media screening.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the supervision of classes when the usual teacher is absent for short-term reason
  • Maintain high standards for all pupils
  • Demonstrate respect for pupils' social, cultural, linguistic, religious and ethnic backgrounds

Requirements:

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
