Job Responsibility:
Supervising classes during the short-term absence of the regular teacher
Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
Distributing and overseeing pre-prepared lesson materials and activities set by the subject teacher
Ensuring students remain on task and understand the work they have been set
Responding to students' questions and providing appropriate support
Upholding the school's policies and procedures, particularly those relating to safeguarding and behaviour
Providing feedback to the regular teacher on the progress of the lesson and any issues encountered
Requirements:
Have a genuine interest in working with young people (typically aged 11-16)
Possess strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students
Are confident, adaptable, and able to use their initiative
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Are reliable, punctual, and professional
