Job Description:

We are looking for confident Cover Supervisors to work in a school in North West London on a flexible short-term and long-term contract basis. This is a key role within secondary schools and almost every secondary school now engages cover supervisors to cover absences and staff when they are required for other duties. This is great opportunity to work on flexible basis and gain experience within schools.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work in secondary schools to provide support subject teachers by covering classes
  • Ensure students are working on tasks
  • Be in sole charge of the classroom control and the safety of pupils within the class

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people of secondary age
  • Able to provide 2 references in relation to working with young people
  • Hold a DBS Enhanced disclosure or be prepared to undertake a new DBS enhanced check
