Job Description

Join our team of flexible supply staff supporting schools in and around Lowestoft. If you enjoy a changing environment and want to help students succeed on a day-to-day basis, we want to hear from you. Permanent opportunities are often available for the right candidates!

Job Responsibility

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and any issues
  • Support the wider school community as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to different subjects and school environments
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or have one registered on the Update Service
