Here’s your chance to gain hands-on classroom experience while making a real difference to students’ learning. As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll support teachers, manage classes, and develop skills that will give you a head start in your teaching career. Perfect for anyone eager to understand the classroom environment and build confidence before teacher training!

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged
  • Implementing lesson plans provided by teachers and managing classroom activities effectively
  • Supporting individual students or small groups where necessary
  • Maintaining a positive and safe learning environment at all times
  • Monitoring student behaviour and reporting any concerns to teaching staff
  • Encouraging students to reach their potential and fostering a love of learning
  • Liaising with teachers and school staff to provide updates on student progress

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children
  • Enhanced DBS (we can assist with your application!)
  • EWC registration
