Job Description:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an integral role in supporting students across both Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), helping maintain a positive and productive classroom environment while delivering lessons and assisting students in their learning process. This role offers flexible working opportunities and the chance to gain valuable classroom experience.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee pre-planned lessons, ensuring students remain engaged and on task
Maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere by managing student behaviour effectively
Help students with their tasks, offer guidance, and ensure they stay focused
Cultivate a respectful classroom environment by upholding school policies and guidelines
Collect student work, provide feedback when needed, and assist in tracking their progress

Requirements:

Previous experience working with secondary school students
Skilled in keeping students engaged and managing classroom behaviour efficiently
Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with students and staff
Must have the right to work in the UK
An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check (or a willingness to obtain one)
Two professional references from recent educational roles
