Job Description:

Secondary Cover Supervisor | Worthing | Flexible Teaching Support. Randstad Education is seeking assertive and adaptable individuals to join our Cover Supervisor team in Worthing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across a range of local secondary schools, managing classrooms and supporting students aged 11-16. Whether you need full-time stability or flexible daily shifts to balance other commitments, we offer roles in the Worthing area that adapt to your schedule.

Job Responsibility:

  • Classroom Management: Maintaining a focused and productive atmosphere for students
  • Policy Implementation: Ensuring school behavior protocols are followed consistently
  • Student Support: Answering queries on pre-set tasks and keeping pupils engaged with their learning
  • Professional Feedback: Returning completed work and providing concise notes for the returning teacher

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above)
  • Confidence: The ability to lead and command the respect of a room of teenagers
  • Resilience: A professional 'can-do' attitude with the ability to adapt to different school cultures
  • Safeguarding: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one)
