Job Description:

Randstad Education is looking for confident, motivated Cover Supervisors to join our team for daily and long-term roles across Liverpool. From the heart of the city centre to schools in South Liverpool, Aintree, and West Derby, we have immediate starts available.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the classroom by supervising students as they complete pre-set work
Manage student behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Guide learning by explaining lesson objectives and answering student questions
Ensure a safe environment by following all school safeguarding procedures
Take accurate registers and monitor attendance at the start of every lesson
Collect completed work and provide feedback for the returning teacher
Act as a professional role model, encouraging students to stay on task and engaged

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people (e.g., coaching, youth work)
Effective communication skills to explain tasks and give instructions
Strong classroom management and the ability to handle challenging behaviour
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
