We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our secondary academy in Bexley. Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise and lead classrooms across various subjects, ensuring students complete set work and stay on task
  • Maintain a safe and productive learning environment by upholding the academy's high standards of behaviour and discipline
  • Assist students with their learning, providing clarity on instructions and encouraging a growth mindset
  • Provide feedback to department heads on student engagement and progress during the lesson
  • Support the wider academy community through break duties or administrative support when not in the classroom

Requirements:

  • A degree-level education or significant experience working with young people (ideal for graduates or former police/military/coaching professionals)
  • A 'determined and thoughtful' presence-someone who can command a room with calm authority and empathy
