Job Description:

Become a Vital Part of a Learning Community: Cover Supervisor Needed at SEN school in Worthing! This is a thriving independent school for students aged 11-16 with a range of special educational needs, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, ADHD, Communication difficulties, Learning disabilities.

Job Responsibility:

Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment
Following pre-prepared lesson plans, engaging students in meaningful activities and supporting their learning
Promoting high standards of behaviour and classroom management, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all

Requirements:

Has a passion for working with young people and a strong commitment to supporting their learning
Is confident and capable of managing a classroom effectively
Is able to follow instructions clearly and work independently
Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is able to adapt to different situations and work effectively as part of a team
