That’s where a Cover Supervisor makes a real impact, providing stability, maintaining routines, and ensuring learning never misses a beat. At Oasis Academy Wintringham we’re looking for someone confident, adaptable and student focused, someone who can step in seamlessly, lead a classroom with assurance, and create a calm, productive learning environment, even at short notice. Job Responsibility:

  • Delivery of pre planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
  • Maintaining calm, focused and purposeful classrooms
  • Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations for learning
  • Responding flexibly and professionally to changing needs
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency for students

Requirements:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Ideally a Level 3 qualification
  • Confidence leading a classroom and engaging young people
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, authoritative approach
  • Excellent organisation, resilience and adaptability
  • Experience working with children or young people (desirable)
  • Reliability, commitment, and a genuine desire to support students
