Job Description:

Cover Supervisor – Daily supply, starting as soon as possible. These flexible opportunities are ideal for Cover Supervisors who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working on a daily supply basis in Diss and the surrounding areas, supporting secondary schools with short-term cover needs.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure pupils remain on task
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and classroom activity
Support the wider school community and uphold safeguarding standards
Adapt quickly to different school environments and expectations

Requirements:

Experience working with secondary-aged pupils in a school or youth setting
Confident in managing classroom behaviour and engaging learners
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible, reliable, and able to work across a range of subjects
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Nice to have:

A degree or relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
