Job Description

Cover Supervisor – Day-to-Day Supply, Starting Immediately. Join our team of flexible supply staff supporting schools in and around Lowestoft. If you enjoy a changing environment and want to help students succeed on a day-to-day basis, we want to hear from you. Permanent opportunities are often available for the right candidates!

Job Responsibility

Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and any issues
Support the wider school community as needed

Requirements

Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to adapt to different subjects and school environments
Reliable, punctual, and committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or have one registered on the Update Service

Nice to have

Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting
