Job Responsibility:

  • Classroom Management: Overseeing pupils and ensuring behaviour remains in line with school policies
  • Student Engagement: Keeping students motivated and on-task with the provided materials
  • Academic Support: Assisting pupils with questions regarding their set work
  • Reporting: Collecting completed work and providing concise feedback for the returning teacher
  • Safety: Upholding a safe learning environment and adhering to all safeguarding protocols

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades 9-4 / A*-C) including English and Maths
  • Fluent written and spoken English with the confidence to lead a room
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is highly desirable
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required
  • Adaptability, professionalism, and a can-do attitude

Nice to have:

Degrees, PGCEs, or NCFE Level 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning
