Job Description:

We are looking for flexible, proactive Cover Supervisors to work across our partner secondary schools in the Wirral. Whether you are based in the north, south, or west of the peninsula, we have local opportunities to suit your schedule. We provide cover for schools in the following localities: Wallasey & North Wirral: Wallasey Village, New Brighton, Moreton, and Upton. Birkenhead & Prenton: Oxton, Noctorum, and Claughton. Bebington & South Wirral: Higher Bebington, Bromborough, and Eastham. West Wirral & Heswall: West Kirby, Greasby, Pensby, and Irby.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise students across various subjects
Ensure pupils complete pre-planned work left by the absent teacher
Maintain a positive learning environment by enforcing school behaviour codes
Assist pupils with queries regarding the set tasks and learning materials
Register students and return completed work to the department head
Manage any immediate classroom emergencies according to school procedures

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children/young people (11-16 years)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
Strong verbal and written skills to engage students effectively
