Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to support the running of our Academy to create a structured environment for pupils to complete pre-prepared curriculum activities in the absence of their teacher. The main focus of the role is supervising classes/groups of students to ensure that they carry out the work set by their teacher to ensure continuity of learning.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervising classes/groups of students to ensure they carry out work set by their teacher
  • Ensuring continuity of learning
  • Supporting other areas of the school as appropriate and where capacity permits

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build positive relationships
  • Good team player
  • Experience of working within an education establishment
  • Good level of ICT skills, i.e., Microsoft Package
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and very good organisational skills
  • Emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours and attitudes
  • Good sense of humour
  • Ability to speak fluent spoken English
