Job Description:

Justteachers Supply Agency are seeking a full-time Cover Supervisor to work with one of our partner secondary schools in the Daventry area, starting ASAP. This role will be on a long-term basis, expecting to last until the end of the academic year. The school has an excellent senior leadership team, a positive school culture, and strong GCSE results from the previous academic year.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons left by the classroom teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Take the register and ensure all students are accounted for
  • Provide assistance to students where needed to help them stay on task
  • Report any issues or feedback to teaching staff at the end of the day

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified – with experience working with children in a UK setting
  • Proven experience across KS3 & KS4
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Two education or school-based references where applicable
  • Must meet the minimum experience, training or qualifications stated
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS including a children’s barred list check and where applicable a vulnerable adults barred list check is required
