Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for education? We’re looking for a Cover Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of our operations. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll play a key role in driving efficiency, supporting learners, and making a real impact. If you have a keen eye for detail and a talent for turning insights into action, we’d love to hear from you! We have a great opportunity available to join Novus Gower, our prison education provider at HMP Parc, working as a Cover Supervisor in the Young People’s unit.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and deliver high quality, learner focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards, in line with Novus Gower policies and procedure
Supporting learners and colleagues alike to ensure the best outcome for all who work within our sector

Requirements:

Hold a teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
Have experience of creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners
Have experience of achieving of quality targets
Have experience of producing accurate and timely reports
Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrate an ability to motivate and enthuse learners
Have excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload, and meet deadlines and targets
Always commit to positive teamworking
