Cover Supervisor

• Support our staff and students by delivering lessons and supervision to provide short term cover for teacher absence
• Deploying classroom management skills, enabling students to achieve their lesson objectives whilst offering appropriate support where needed
• Helping to assist the wider faculty when teaching staff are otherwise engaged.

• Experience of working with students in an educational or service environment
• Minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C or above (including Maths and English)
• Solid communication skills and the ability to successfully manage classroom behaviour and focus
• Ability to prioritise and plan workload, delivering set lesson content effectively and efficiently and identifying opportunities for further support where appropriate.
• Enthusiasm and hard working
• Resilience and determination and welcome the challenge helping students to learn and suceed.

Ability to experience a leading role in the classroom, working as part of a wider team, with access to further developmental opportunities available.
