Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a Cover Supervisor to help partner secondary schools based in the Rochdale area on adhoc days to cover last minute gaps. As a cover Supervisor you will have to be flexible and ok with last minute change. The schools need cover ASAP – So please apply below.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be able to show great initiative and strong behaviour management in the classroom
  • Show willing to change as subject of lessons could change throughout the day
  • Be able to engage with pupils in the class as there are pupils with SEND
  • Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
  • Ensure pupils remain on task and follow the work set by the class teacher
  • Provide support and guidance where necessary, promoting a positive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree level Qualified or have previous Cover Supervisor experience
  • 2 Educational / School based references
  • Have the ability to lead and cover none subject specialism lessons
  • Hold strong behaviour management skills and be able to engage pupils regardless of their ability and background
