Job Description:

At Elementa Support Services, we are proud to partner with reputable educational providers dedicated to delivering high standards of learning and support. Currently, we are recruiting a Cover Supervisor to join a well-established secondary academy in Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced instructor or cover supervisor with a background in secondary education to make a meaningful contribution to a dedicated team.

Job Responsibility:

Supervising and managing classes in the absence of a regular teacher
Maintaining an orderly classroom environment to support student learning
Following lesson plans provided by teachers (where applicable)
Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all students during lessons
Reporting on student behaviour and progress as required

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor or Instructor within secondary education
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to cover a range of subjects with confidence
Flexible, professional, and approachable manner
Commitment to maintaining a positive and disciplined learning environment
Prepared to undertake required vetting & compliance checks
