Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Immediate Start, Sittingbourne). R&A Education Solutions are recruiting Cover Supervisors for secondary schools in Sittingbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are confident, adaptable, and motivated to support students in the classroom. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning when teachers are absent. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, supervise classes, manage behaviour, and provide academic support across a range of subjects and year groups.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons to secondary school students across different subjects
  • Supervise and engage students, creating a positive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Support students during independent and group work activities
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and school leadership teams

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people or in a classroom setting (desirable, not essential)
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Confidence to lead classes and engage learners
  • Flexibility to cover a range of subjects and year groups
