Job Description:

As a Cover Supervisor you will be leading a class from plans and resources provided. You will need to be proactive in engaging with students around learning and behaviour. We work in partnership with our schools across South Shields who rely on AK Teaching to cover classes on daily, short term and long-term temp assignments.

  • graduate considering a career in Education
  • thinking about pursuing a PGCE/SCITT or Graduate Teaching Programme
  • Further Education trained and would like to transition into Secondary Teaching
  • Learning Support Assistant keen to develop skills
  • Youth worker running children’s clubs and activities
  • Sports Coach who would like to work in a school or academy setting
  • currently work as a Cover Supervisor and would like additional work
