Job Description:

Cover Supervisors – Flexible daily and short-term roles available immediately. These flexible opportunities are ideal for cover supervisors who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. We are currently recruiting cover supervisors to work across secondary schools in Dawlish and the surrounding areas. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, we can offer placements that suit your availability and preferences.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
Support students with their learning and respond to questions where appropriate
Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils during lessons

Requirements:

Experience working with secondary-aged students in an educational setting
Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different subjects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
