Job Description:

Flexible Cover Primary Teacher role delivering PPA across all year groups (Reception to Year 6) in a lovely rural primary school in Horsham. Perfect for someone who loves teaching but doesn't want the full load of daily planning and marking.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cover PPA time across all year groups
  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons or light‑planning depending on the timetable
  • Support consistency across the school
  • Adapt quickly to different classes and age groups
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Contribute to the wider school community

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher (ECT–M6 welcomed)
  • Confidently teach across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Calm, professional and adaptable classroom presence
  • Strong behaviour management with a nurturing approach
  • Driver, due to the rural location
  • Organised, reliable and happy to work across multiple classes
