This contract-to-permanent position focuses on ensuring compliance with community standards, facilitating property assessments, and promoting adherence to established guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to resolving compliance matters.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct routine property inspections to verify compliance with community regulations and safety standards
Investigate and document complaints about covenant violations, coordinating with relevant departments as necessary
Maintain accurate enforcement records and prepare detailed reports for governing committees
Manage enforcement procedures to address non-compliance issues while adhering to Board-approved guidelines
Review submissions for architectural and design approvals, ensuring all required documents, plans, and fees are included
Perform follow-up inspections on approved projects and deliver written notifications regarding results to property owners
Educate residents about the importance of community governance and compliance with established regulations
Draft correspondence and documentation related to inspection outcomes, recommendations, and corrective measures
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure ongoing compliance with zoning codes and related regulations
Identify and report maintenance concerns within the community that require attention
Requirements:
Completion of a two-year college program with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and training
A bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in covenant enforcement are preferred
Proficiency in interpreting policies, technical documents, and regulatory materials with strong written communication skills
Solid mathematical and geometric skills for property assessments and evaluations
Analytical abilities to identify problems, gather data, and develop actionable solutions
Valid driver’s license and car insurance required
Familiarity with office applications, construction terminology, and blueprint interpretation
Knowledge of local government guidelines related to building codes and traffic regulations
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally handle challenging interactions with residents
