Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Courtroom Specialist to provide administrative support in a meticulous legal environment. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of courtroom operations while expanding your expertise in administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will excel in managing multiple responsibilities, maintaining accuracy, and interacting effectively with legal professionals and clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform general administrative tasks to support courtroom operations, including organizing files and managing schedules
  • Answer and direct inbound calls promptly and efficiently, ensuring accurate communication
  • Maintain and update records, ensuring proper data entry and compliance with legal standards
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors by handling receptionist duties with attention to detail
  • Assist in preparing legal documents and reports, ensuring all materials are accurate and complete
  • Coordinate communication between legal teams, clients, and courtroom staff
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality
  • Support courtroom personnel with logistical needs during proceedings
  • Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate attention to detail in all administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administrative assistance roles, preferably in a legal or courtroom setting
  • Strong proficiency in answering inbound calls and directing inquiries effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to handle administrative office tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Skilled in data entry with an emphasis on attention to detail
  • Experience performing receptionist duties in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
