Court Usher - Part Time - Walsall / Birmingham. 22.5 hours per week | Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday | 8am-4pm/9am-5pm (flexibility required). Temporary until September 2026 (with potential extension). Predominantly based in Walsall (WS2), with training and some duties in Birmingham. Job Responsibility

  • Preparing courtrooms and managing daily schedules
  • Welcoming and assisting court users
  • Communicating effectively with staff, visitors, and senior stakeholders
  • Liaising with the Judiciary and legal professionals
  • Organising and completing court files and documentation
  • Supporting the smooth flow of proceedings
  • Data entry and drafting correspondence

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS (processed by us)
  • Three years' employment references
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask
  • Confident, reliable, and proactive
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
