Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious academic practitioner/ researcher to lead the BA Fashion Communication team to deliver our unique and highly successful course. As Course Leader you will provide a highly stimulating and nurturing environment for students and colleagues alike. You will be responsible for assuring the academic standards of the course and its delivery through your academic leadership and the effective management of resources. You will shape the design, development and future of the BA Fashion Communication curriculum and play a significant role in the Fashion Programme and M School teams. You will build on the international reputation of the course and enhance professional, academic and research partnerships to ensure that the course continues to anticipate the changing needs of the global fashion industry, commerce and society.

Job Responsibility:

  • assuring the academic standards of the course and its delivery through academic leadership and effective management of resources
  • shape the design, development and future of the BA Fashion Communication curriculum
  • build on the international reputation of the course and enhance professional, academic and research partnerships

Requirements:

  • experience of delivering a fashion communication undergraduate degree course
  • in depth understanding and personal experience of the relationship of fashion education with the fashion industry, both nationally and internationally
